Yes, you are right! It is Jazz!
Jazz is a genre of music that originated in African-American communities during the late 19th and early 20th century. Jazz emerged in many parts of the United States with independent and popular musical styles; linked by the common bonds of European American.
African-American music is originated from a performance orientation. There are many derivative genres of jazz such as big band, free jazz and swing. It combines the rhythm and the blues that makes it a very cool and relaxing form of music. In my opinion, Jazz is a very interesting and attention-grabbing music.
Saxophones are commonly used in military, jazz and classical music. In jazz, the saxophone is one of the signature sounds.
Nowadays, people like to use saxophone because the sound of the saxophone is stimulating. When I listen to the saxophone, I will relax, put down all the work of the day and enjoy the music. The sound of the saxophone gives me the feeling of going back to the 50’s like the movie ‘Roman Holiday’.
I have been to a Jazz festival at Mount Gambier once. It was my first time to go to a Jazz festival that the atmosphere of the festival impressed me. Everybody there had fun and they expressed themselves on the stage. From then on, Jazz becomes one of my favourite music styles.
Now, I want to recommend you a song called Jubel, which is sung by Klingande. Klingande is a French deep house duo with a prominent use of the piano and the saxophone. The name of the band as well as the music is inspired by the contemporary Swedish House Music.
Are you ready for this wonderful song? Let’s get excited!!!
